“They’re six and seven. How else were they supposed to take a fifty-eight-year-old man calling them thieves?”<\/p>\n

The next season, the tree produced plenty of apples.<\/p>\n

It was an adult deciding that because something belonged to him, he could make two children feel like trespassers in their own home.<\/p>\n

The moment he claimed ownership, Rob made sure he understood ownership worked both ways.<\/p>\n

You don’t get to claim every benefit and hand every inconvenience to somebody else.<\/p>\n
