They filmed a movie in Canada during the pandemic, only to begin the experience with COVID-19 testing and two weeks confined to their room. Both privately wondered whether such intense isolation might\u00a0expose cracks\u00a0<\/strong>in their young relationship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Instead, they had a glorious time. They made silly home movies, laughed constantly, played music for a seagull that visited their balcony, and watched the days slip away together.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Linda and Patrick later toured England for\u00a0seven months<\/strong>\u00a0with a British cast, performing inside theaters she affectionately described as gorgeous “jewel boxes.” Spending their working hours and free time together only pulled them closer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In November 2022, they also appeared alongside one another on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” For Linda, who had already found lifelong friendships through acting, sharing the screen with Patrick made their late-in-life romance feel even more deliciously full-circle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The couple launched Duffy’s Dough, a business inspired by the treasured sourdough starter Patrick had carefully kept alive for years. Patrick found a delightfully simple way to describe just how profoundly their relationship had reorganized both their lives.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
