William Sterling had seven children, but his enormous mansion was far from a happy home.
His late wife had died several years earlier, leaving him to balance a growing business with seven grieving children. His constant travel had created distance between him and the family he desperately wanted to protect.

After seeing how patiently she had comforted a frightened child at the charity center, William offered her a position as a family companion and tutor for his younger children.

“I don’t know anything about being part of a billionaire’s family,” she admitted.
“Neither do my children,” William replied. “They have everything they need, except someone who understands them.”
When Elena arrived at the Sterling mansion, the children stared at her suspiciously.
One boy folded his arms.
“Another nanny? How long will you stay?”
Elena smiled gently.
“As long as I’m needed.”
Daisy stood behind the staircase, watching silently. She had barely spoken to anyone outside the family since her mother’s death.
That evening, Elena discovered Daisy sitting alone beside a window, holding an old photograph of her mother.
“You miss her, don’t you?” Elena whispered.
Daisy nodded, her eyes filling with tears.
Elena sat beside her without forcing her to speak.
For the first time in months, Daisy leaned against someone’s shoulder.
William watched them from the doorway, his expression softening.
Perhaps he had finally found someone who could help his family heal.
But when his mother, Margaret Sterling, learned about Elena’s arrival, she immediately demanded a background check.
